I have been working in the intelligent data understanding group at NASA since 2005. During this time I have become familiar with many anomaly detection algorithms and feature extraction techniques such as IMS, Orca, SVMs, sequenceMiner, PLS, NMF, PCA, ICA, and wavelets. With these techniques I have worked on a number of vehicle health management projects including anomaly detection in the space shuttle main engine liquid propulsion system, anomaly discovery in commercial airline flight data, space shuttle optical plume analysis, space shuttle flow control valve fault detection, ARES ground diagnosis fault detection, and various other vehicle health management projects.
