A dataset shared by Nikunj Oza, updated on Sep 22, 2010
Summary
Subject Area:
Engine Health
Description:
This data set is a simulated data set based on the flight simulator "FLTz" used by the Intelligent Flight Control (IFC) group at NASA ARC. Flights were preprogrammed to fly through randomly generated circular flight paths starting from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and ending at approximately the same location. No known anomalous flights were simulated.
How Data Was Acquired:
The data was acquired from the FLTz flight simulator.
Sample Rates and Parameter Description:
There are a total of 20 flights, which range from 15 to 40 minutes and are sampled at a rate of 1Hz. Flights include 4 stages of flight takeoff, climb, cruise, and descent and consist of 36 parameters. These parameters include flight time, aircraft flight dynamics, as well as control surface positions and engine thrust.
Anomalies/Faults:
None
