Gopinath is working as a Research Associate at CSIR-Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIO), Chennai from November 2018. Currently, he is working on energy management using non intrusive load (appliance) monitoring. Gopinath has completed his PhD at Amrita University in February 2019. He has completed his Master's and Bachelor's Degree from Anna University in the year 2008 and 2010 respectively. After graduation, he worked as Project Post Graduate Trainee in CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories, Bangalore in 2011. He also worked as senior research fellow for the project funded by Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA), Bangalore for two years. His research interests include condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, fault diagnosis, energy management, data driven approach, vibration monitoring, machine learning and pattern recognition, signal processing, integrated vehicle health monitoring (IVHM) and data analytics. He is also an active reviewer in Elsevier (Measurement Journal), SAE and IJPHM journals.
