Mr. Driscoll is a Fellow at Honeywell Labs with 40 years experience in safety and security critical systems. He was a major designer of the gigabit TTEthernet for NASA's Orion vehicle, the ARINC 659 SAFEbus, the SAE AS4710 PI-bus, and the IEEE 1149 JTAG buses. Prior to joining Honeywell in 1977, he was a cryptography specialist for the U.S. Army Security Agency. He continues to design safety and security critical networks and architectures. Mr. Driscoll has over 40 patents and a dozen pending covering safety and security in real-time systems.
